8 Ounce Bottle of U.S. Art Supply Airbrush Flow Improver. A highly effective additive used to improve the flow of paint or other liquids through an airbrush. It is particularly useful when used with airbrushes with small tip sizes, when working with thicker paints, or when trying to achieve a smoother, more even finish.
This flow improver is made from a mixture of surfactant, solvent, and acrylic-based binders that work together to reduce surface tension and improve acrylic airbrush paint's wetting and flow properties. It will also help prevent paint buildup and clogging, and keep needles from jamming in the airbrush, improving the overall spraying performance.
Following the manufacturer's recommended usage ratio of 1 to 2 drops of flow improver to 20 drops of acrylic airbrush paint is essential. Adding too much flow improver can cause the paint to become too thin and runny, while adding too little may not have the desired effect.
The flow improver does not compromise paint quality but does keep paint from drying out as quickly. It's ideal for use when spraying finely detailed line work using a small tip-size airbrush. It meets ASTM D-4236 standards and is a water-based, non-toxic formula.
