It features an "air-on-demand system" that automatically shuts off air when it is not in use. It includes a double-gear switch. The first gear is preset for automatic turn-off when air pressure reaches 58 psi and preset for automatic turn-on at 44 psi. The second gear allows the air pressure to reach 116 psi. The safety valve opens at 116 psi.
